The Project


Carnival UK built a new 140,000 square feet landmark Headquarters Building in Southampton for occupation in Autumn 2009.


All furniture within the new building was  to be procured new via competitive tender.  Having scheduled and procured the major elements, HHCPM were appointed to complete procurement and to manage the project to completion.

The Challenge


  1. Detailed programming for the delivery and installation of all furniture and equipment within a tight programme

  2. Co-ordination with contractors handing over building on floor by floor phased basis

  3. Tight control of multiple suppliers and installers in all aspects of the project

  4. Resolution of any on-site queries, design issues and practical problems

  5. Quality and change control of all installations

  6. Provide advice to CUK on all aspects and timescales for building set-up

The Result


Over 6,000 items of furniture and equipment delivered on time and on budget within only 7 weeks, including:


1200 desks, 1200 filing cabinets, 1500 chairs, conference suite furniture, restaurant and break-out furniture, multiple graphics and signage, catering equipment, planting, racking and shelving


All items snagged, de-snagged and handed over ready for Carnival Opening Day
